About the maintenance of graphite scraper:

1. Clean the air pump cylinder wall before installing the replacement carbon sheet, and there must be no residue.

2. Check if the cylinder wall is worn. (Note: If you encounter a bad carbon sheet, the hardness is too high and it is easy to wear the cylinder wall).

3. When installing the carbon sheet, be careful not to reverse the chamfering direction, as soon as the carbon sheet is broken.

4. Regularly maintain the air pump bearing and add high temperature lubricating oil. If the bearing is damaged, it will cause unexpected failure and the consequences will be serious.

5. The air inlet filter should maintain good working performance and be replaced and maintained regularly.

6, carbon sheet size, must be measured, because it is difficult to have accurate specifications after wear, please measure from the groove of the rotor to the cylinder wall, leaving a small amount of clearance (must take into account the expansion coefficient of the carbon sheet, if once carbon Sheet expansion will crush the carbon sheet from both ends)

7, graphite sheet mainly depends on its material (too hard wear cylinder wall, too soft blade consumption is very fast); accuracy, error <0.01mm (invisible to the naked eye may cause poor vacuum, huge noise or fever after the rotary expansion card dead)

 

Note on use:

1. The life of the vacuum pump carbon sheet has a great relationship with the smoothness of the pump body, the use environment and the installation accuracy. Therefore, the pump cylinder should be polished before installation to ensure the smoothness of the curved surface.

2. The vacuum pump carbon sheet is self-lubricating and does not require oil. At the same time, the carbon sheet will cause the performance of the carbon sheet to be weakened when it is in contact with water. If it is serious, it will be easily broken. Therefore, it must be dried before use.

3. The filter body of the pump body needs to be equipped with a filtering device to prevent impurities and dust from entering the pump body to accelerate the wear of the carbon sheet.

4. The processing of the vacuum pump carbon sheet requires high precision to match the air pump, and the roughness cannot be too high.

5. During the installation, it is necessary to re-adjust the gap between the pump parts to prevent the gap from continuously causing the carbon sheet to collide with the cylinder.
